Dear Readers,

Welcome to my website. THE CURE is my first novel, so I feel a degree of trepidation, coupled with a feeling of reserved exuberance. I am sure I am not alone. Ernest Hemingway once said the thing he feared most was “a blank sheet of paper." THE CURE, however, is not my first book. During my career as a securities attorney, I have written dozens of "books." They are called prospectuses, private placement memoranda and proxy statements. These "books" tell the story of an entrepreneur’s dream to bring something new, unique and useful to the world. They embody her story of the birth of an idea, and hopefully result in the attraction of capital, a company's life blood.

Like the many entrepreneurs who brave the marketplace in the hope their new mousetrap finds purchase, I hope you find reading THE CURE an enriching experience. I also hope you find it intriguing, entertaining and possibly enlightening. This is my first author letter. I hope it is not my last.
